In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Bhudeo Choudhary of RJD won in this constituency beating Manish Kumar of JDU by a margin of 3060 votes which was 1.69% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Manish Kumar of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Bhudeo Choudhary of BLSP by a margin of 24154 votes which was 15.58% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Manish Kumar of JDU won this seat defeating Naresh Das of RJD by a margin of 8342 votes which was 7.4% of the total votes polled for the seat.
