In 2015, Amrendra Kumar Pandey of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Kali Prasad Pandey of LJP by a margin of 3562 votes which was 2.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Amrendra Kumar Pandey of JDU won this seat defeating Aditya Narain Pandey of RJD by a margin of 19518 votes which was 15.41% of the total votes polled for the seat.
