In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Akash Pandurang Fundkar of BJP won in this constituency beating Dnyaneshwar Purushottam Patil of INC by a margin of 16,703 votes which was 08.43% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Akash Pandurang Fundkar of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Sananda Dilipkumar Gokulchand of INC by a margin of 7,061 votes which was 3.59% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Sananda Dilipkumar Gokulchand of INC won this seat defeating Khandare Dhondiram Sonaji of BJP by a margin of 7,920 votes which was 4.62% of the total votes polled for the seat.
