Assembly constituency no.98. Pathri comprises of the following areas of Parbhani district in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra: Pathri Tehsil, Manwath Tehsil, Sonpeth Tehsil, Parbhani Tehsil (Part), Revenue Circle Pedgaon, Singnapur and Daithana.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 1994.27 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 19°11'25.4"N 76°33'03.6"E.

In 2014, Fad Mohan Madhavrao of IND was the winner in this seat beating Warpudkar Suresh Ambadasrao of INC by a margin of 13,449 votes which was 5.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Renge Mira Kalyanrao of SS won this seat defeating Durrani Abdullah Khan Durrani A Latifkhan of NCP by a margin of 11,025 votes which was 5.74% of the total votes polled for the seat.
