In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Shalley of INC won in this constituency beating Surender Singh of BJP by a margin of 20,600 votes which was 15.24% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Nayab Singh of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Ram Kishan of INC by a margin of 24,361 votes which was 17.32% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Ram Kishan of INC won this seat defeating Ram Singh of INLD by a margin of 8,320 votes which was 7.17% of the total votes polled for the seat.
