In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 1,80,084 registered voters, of which 95,405 were male, 84,678 female and 1 from the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 1,62,915 registered voters in this constituency, of which 86,419 were male and 76,496 female. In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Ranjit Singh of IND won in this constituency beating Gobind Kanda of HaLP by a margin of 19,431 votes which was 13.53% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ram Chand Kamboj of INLD was the winner in this seat beating Gobind Kanda of HaLP by a margin of 4,315 votes which was 3% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Krishan Lal S/O Ram Chand of INLD won this seat defeating Ranjit Singh of INC by a margin of 3,651 votes which was 3.01% of the total votes polled for the seat.
