In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Namdev Jayram Sasane of BJP won in this constituency beating Khadse Vijayrao Yadavrao of INC by a margin of 9,427 votes which was 04.79% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Rajendra Waman Najardhane of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Khadse Vijayrao Yadavrao of INC by a margin of 48,576 votes which was 25.89% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Khadase Vijayrao Yadavrao of INC won this seat defeating Rajendra Waman Najardhane of BJP by a margin of 7,375 votes which was 4.89% of the total votes polled for the seat.
