In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Raut Sunil Rajaram of SS won in this constituency beating Dhananjay (Dada) Pisal of NCP by a margin of 27,788 votes which was 21.72% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Sunil Rajaram Raut of SS was the winner in this seat beating Mangesh Eknath Sangale of MNS by a margin of 25,339 votes which was 19.26% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Mangesh Sangle of MNS won this seat defeating Pallavi Sanjay Patil of NCP by a margin of 20,412 votes which was 16.47% of the total votes polled for the seat.
