In 2014, Sunil Rajaram Raut of SS was the winner in this seat beating Mangesh Eknath Sangale of MNS by a margin of 25,339 votes which was 19.26% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Mangesh Sangle of MNS won this seat defeating Pallavi Sanjay Patil of NCP by a margin of 20,412 votes which was 16.47% of the total votes polled for the seat.
